Made for Keeps — A Wreath Workshop

Forget everything you know about the Christmas wreath.

There is no tinsel, no obligatory red and green, no decoration or one-off seasonal plastics bound for the bin come January. 

Instead, something more intentional: a wreath built entirely from fresh botanicals, shaped by your hand over the course of an afternoon, and left to do what no other decoration does at Christmas – change.

Each Wreath Workshop is held in our space at 337 Smith St, Fitzroy, and capped at 10 attendees per session. Led by our Founder, Sarah, you will be gently guided throughout the 2 hour workshop to help shape your materials into something you're proud to hang. 

Over the weeks that follow, your Wreath will dry exactly where it hangs. Its colour will fade or deepen (depending on the botanicals you choose), its form will settle, and what began as something alive and slightly unruly becomes permanent – an object with staying power most seasonal decor was never built for.

The result is not a decoration to be packed away. It is a study in patience, worn on the front door, that only becomes more itself with time, and once the festivities of the season pass, brought inside to continue its evolution of being.
